We were delighted to hear that Sue and Paul's lovely Poppy won the Graduate Class at The North Of England Bearded Collie Club Show under breed specialist Bryony Harcourt - Brown.
After enjoying a busy and successful time in the showring our Beardies will be taking a little time out as Angela is due to have a foot operation very shortly. All being well we will be attending The Bearded Collie Club Championship Show and perhaps L.K.A. Championship Show in December.

It is the time of year when we turn our thoughts to taking new photographs of our dogs for inclusion in The Bearded Collie Club Year Book 2009. We could not resist putting this new photo of Matilda on our "news" page. "Darlington Championship Show 2009"
Unfortunately we were unable to attend this show but we were extremely pleased to hear that Georgie won the Bitch RCC and Young Poppy won her 8th yearling class. Our Thanks to Karen and Sue for showing these lovely girls so well.

We enjoyed a very pleasent day at this lovely show, Matilda won her Limit Class and Indy won a 3rd in Limit Dog.

We have news from 2 of Eva's lovely daughters....
Evie "Sengalas She'z Got Style" Went to live in France with Susan, Reg, Ruby and two cats........
Evie is enjoying a very pleasant 1st summer among the sunflowers and vineyards that surround her beautiful home.
Thank You Sue and Reg for giving dear Evie such a perfect home and for loving her so much.

Floraigh " Sengalas Zweet Indiana" lives an adventurous life with Maggie, Hugh and their cat Popeye.
Floraigh and her family have just returned home from a 7 week voyage visiting the beautiful Scilly Isles.

We feel extremely proud that Sweet Floraigh has the correct self - confident temperament which allows her to fit in so well with Hugh and Maggie's adventurous lifestyle..........Thank you Maggie and Hugh for loving Floraigh.

" Bournemouth Championship Show 2009 "
Young Poppy "Sengalas Indiana Star" made ourselves and her owners Sue and Paul feel very proud by winning her 6th consecutive yearling class. Our Indy also did very well by winning his class and dear Matilda won 2nd in Limit Bitch Class.

"Midshires Bearded Collie Club 2009"
Ella "Sengalas Indian Image" very much enjoyed her first show and we were delighted when she won her puppy class under breed specialist Rosie Haywood (Binbusy), Ella then went on to win "Best Puppy In Show".

We were very pleased to watch Poppy "Sengalas Indiana Star" win the Yearling Bitch Class and our Indy was placed 2nd in Mid Limit Dog, an achievement as he is now up with "The Big Boys".

Matilda was expertly handled and beautifully presented by her new friend Anki Johnsson.

Today (22/7/09) we celebrate Eva's 7th birthday, we find it hard to believe this beautiful lady is now a veteran. We are sure Eva will enjoy a few outings in the Veteran classes this year.

Our Congratulations to Karen Edwards and dear Georgie "Sengalas Leading Lady of Roxilyn" on gaining her 2nd CC under Ruth Scott. Young Poppy "Sengalas Indiana Star" also enjoyed a good day by winning the yearling bitch class.
We are very proud of both these lovely girls.

We all enjoyed a super day out at our local Championship show. Indy and Matilda both won their classes and we spent a great afternoon watching the Groups and Best in Show.

"Reg, Indy and Ella's Day Out"
Reg, Indy and Ella enjoyed a funday out supporting our local village Companion Dog Show.
We were delighted when Reg won "Best Puppy in Show", Indy " Best In Show" and Little Ella won a "2nd" in the adult class.

This show raised well over £500 in aid of the charity "Canine Partners". Our Congratulations to Jenny Wynd and her hard working helpers on such a successful, enjoyable, well run event.
Reg (Sengalas Spirit Guide) and Ella (Sengalas Indian Image) very much enjoyed their first experience in the show ring, we look forward to showing them more in the very near future.

Indy and Poppy enjoyed a smashing "get together" at this show. Indy won 1st in Graduate Dog and Poppy won 1st in Yearling Bitch under All Rounder Stuart Mallard.

Matilda made us and her breeders, Kerstin and Andreas Selle, extremely proud by winning the Bitch CC under Breed Specialist Barry Wiggins (Scapafield)
Poppy made Sue and Paul Clack, also ourselves very proud by winning her class. Indy won a 2nd in his class and Georgie " Sengalas Leading Lady of Roxilyn" won 3rd in Open bitch.
